Postal pre-employment health screening, with a follow-up telephone or personal interview by a qualified Occupational Health Nurse, if required, is very suitable for many if not most working environments including most office-based companies, smaller or larger companies without regular OH cover or for organisations with a widely distributed workforce (i.e. service engineers). It is an extremely cost effective and timely method in gauging the health of prospective employees.

 

The process is extremely simple: new employees simply complete a pre-employment paper questionnaire and send it directly to us at our HQ in Cheshire or to our on-site Occupational Health Advisor. We assess the questionnaire, follow-up any issues arising and file/store the record.The OHA will then complete and return a “Fitness to Work” report (typically to HR) highlighting any specific recommendations or actions

This process is normally completed within a day of receipt of the questionnaire; simple, quick and effective.
